Program Rules & Policies
Students are expected to respect teachers, classmates, and materials. Disruptive or unsafe behavior will result in a warning and parent
notification. If behavior does not improve, arKIDect reserves the right to dismiss the student from the program.
Cancellations & Refunds & Make-up Classes
Tuition is non-refundable.
Please arrive five minutes prior to class. If you’re late, we may not be able to make up the time. If a student misses a private class for any reason, a make-up class must be scheduled within two weeks. Group sessions cannot be rescheduled, refunded, or credited. No make-up classes are available for group sessions.
Technologh in the Class & Digital Safety
Sometimes we’ll use technology to help with our projects. When we do, we’ll stick to the task at hand. Please leave personal devices like phones or gaming gadgets at home unless we need them for something specific.
Personal Items
arKIDect is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items brought to class.
No Food During Class
We have only an hour together, and we want to make the most of it! To keep our focus on learning and creating, please save any meals for before or after class. No food is allowed during the session.
Voice & Video Recording
To respect everyone’s rights and protect our content, please remember that recording classes isn’t allowed unless you have the instructor’s permission. Thanks for understanding!
Intellectual Property
All class materials, projects, and resources are the intellectual property of arKIDect (Kids Build LLC) and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without authorization.
Medical Care
In the event of illness or injury, I authorize arKIDect staff to provide basic first aid and, if necessary, arrange medical care at my expense. Parents/guardians will be notified promptly in case of illness, injury, or behavior issues.
Student Image
arKIDect may take photos or videos during classes for educational reports to parents. These photos/videos may also be used for promotional purposes (such as the website, brochures, or social media). Parents/guardians who prefer not to have their child’s image used for promotional purposes may opt out by notifying arKIDect in writing.

Release and Waiver of Liability and Indemnity Agreement
The parent(s) and/or legal guardian(s) of the “Student,” a minor, in consideration of the opportunity to participate in the programs and activities of Arkidect (Kids Build LLC) (the “Program”), hereby agree and acknowledge that:
1. The Student is participating in Arkidect’s programs and activities with my consent and at my and the Student’s own risk.
2. I understand that there are risks and dangers involved in any form of group activity and that these risks and dangers may be caused by one or more persons and factors, including, but not limited to, the condition in which the programs and activities take place or the action, inaction, or negligence of any one of the other participants, instructors, visitors, or the Releasees (as hereinafter defined).
3. There may be other risks and dangers relating to the Student’s participation in Arkidect’s programs and activities that are not reasonably foreseeable at the time of the program or activity or that are unknown to the Releasees at the time of the program or activity.
4. I, individually and on behalf of the Student and the Student’s heirs, legal representatives, and assigns, fully accept and assume all risks and dangers associated with the Student’s participation in Arkidect’s programs and activities and all responsibility for any loss, liability, damage, or expense, whenever arising or discovered, and for any claim or demand on account of, or relating to, any injury to the Student (of whatever extent or nature) and any damage to the Student’s property, including injury, loss, or damage (of whatever extent or nature).
5. In the event of injury to or sickness of the Student, Arkidect (Kids Build LLC) is authorized to provide the Student, at my expense, any medical or hospital care deemed necessary, and if deemed advisable, to arrange for the return of the Student to my custody, at my expense. I understand that if the Student becomes ill during the program, I will be notified to pick up the Student as soon as possible.
6. I, individually and on behalf of the Student, the Student’s heirs, legal representatives, and assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Arkidect (Kids Build LLC), its owners, administrators, directors, officers, agents, instructors, volunteers, and employees, and any other participants in Arkidect’s programs and activities (the “Releasees”) from any liability, claims, demands, losses, or damages (of whatever extent or nature) to the undersigned and to the Student however incurred or alleged to be incurred and hereby agree to indemnify the Releasees against any liability, claim, demand, loss, or damage (of whatever extent or nature) on account thereof.
