We’re excited to invite young designers to arKIDect’s Beach House Design Studio Holiday Workshop!
Kids will design and build their very own scaled beach house models, complete with decks, roofs, windows, and coastal details — all while learning real architecture skills through creative, hands-on making.

🏖 What’s a Beach House?
A beach house is designed to connect indoor living with outdoor coastal life. These homes often feature open layouts, raised foundations, large windows, shaded porches, and breezy decks to capture ocean views and natural light.
In this workshop, kids will explore:
• How houses respond to climate and location
• Basic structure and volume design
• Facades, windows, and roof shapes
• Creative detailing and landscape ideas
• Model-making with cardboard and mixed materials
Each student will leave with their own architectural beach house model and a deeper understanding of how designers shape spaces by the sea.
